Recognizing the need for collaborative cross-functional solutions to the Covid-19 crisis, Hack the Crisis is an opportunity to find solutions that drive social impact, with the aim of tackling Covid-19 related issues. This program welcomes locally and globally focused solutions, and is open to all. We are encouraging innovators in Indonesia to build a solution of their choice across a range of suggested themes and challenge areas.

The program consists of 3 phases:

1. Outreach and Sourcing
2. Ideation and Innovation
3. Implementation and Information

Selected ideas will be receiving continuous support to scale up their solutions into nationwide application. The incubation program provides participants with a comprehensive and integrated range of supportive services like mentoring, access to finance/funding, product development, etc.

Context

There are three key impact objectives we want to achieve by rolling out this program:

• Collect problems and data on local COVID-19 impacts

  Generate data and insights across 3 categories: save lives (impact on personal health, save communities (impact on the society), save businesses (impact on the economy).

• Ideate and create solutions

  Bring in the public and multi-disciplinary professionals to brainstorm solutions to the identified problems - from information and ideas to implementable products and services

• Implement the results

  Selected solutions will be matched with relevant partners and institutions to be piloted/implemented and deployed to a bigger ecosystem
